When given an assignment on creating a creature and human interaction within a house or hotel, my mind immediately went to Where the Wild Things Are and folklore trolls for inspiration. Paired with my love for writing and influence from Shel Silverstein, the illustration grew into a mock-book spread where I included a short poem alongside the narrative.
